Happy Father's Day! Today, we treated our Dad (along with Hampaw, Great Grandaddy K, Great Grandaddy A, and soon-to-be dad Uncle Andy) to lunch at the country club. We love Daddies!
Here is the best Daddy in the world with the best daughters in the world. No, Daddy's not winking at you, it is just really hard to get all 3 of us to look and smile at the camera at the same time.
Uncle Andy, Abbie, Aunt E, and my future baby boy cousin (in tummy)
Now to the swim party. Mommy says that life is too short to always stop and put on your swim suit. Today was one of those days. First, we started in the front yard while mommy was watering her flower beds. She just started spraying us down. So we moved the party to the back yard, turned on the sprinkler, and made a makeshift slip n slide out of our splat mat. If only I had a penny for every time mommy told Abbie not to drink out of the sprinkler...

Notice Abbie in her big girl underwear? Well, we have big news...she learned how to use the potty today. She actually told mommy that she had to go, they ran to the potty, and voila! She has her first sticker on the sticker chart. I'm so proud of her!

Way to go Abbie! I had less of a success with the potty this weekend. Mommy was trying to put a diaper on me, and I ran and hid in her closet mid-change, and she found me when she heard the wizzing sound of me peeing on the carpet in her closet.
I am so happy that you guys are getting a boy cousin! Congrants to your Aunt Erin and Uncle Andy. My mommy says having a boy is fun! It's especially fun when you're the ONLY boy in the cousin pool!
Hugs,
Gus
Good job, Abbie! I knew you had it in you!! You have such a great mommy--I love the makeshift slip-n-slide, too!
Those are so funny... love the one with Abbie drinking to drink the spray!
Hey that anonymous comment was from me. Accidentally hit the wrong button!
LOL! We had a white trash swim experience the other day too... My SIL has a community pool and we stopped by after our walk to stick our feet in. Well, before we knew it, my kids were more than wet (and we didn't have suits on!). It was quite the site walking out of the pool area with my khaki capris wet, Caleb's onesie wet to his chest, then the bottom of the girls' dresses wet to their waists. Next time we'll remember our suits!
Abbie is more than welcome to come over anytime and show Audrey how this whole potty thing works. ;)
