Scary, but Educational

That is how we felt about the new dinosaur exhibit at the Science Museum. We went with our super brave boy cousins, Parker and Cooper. The dinosaurs looked so real! We learned about their names, what they liked to eat (you can tell that just by looking at their teeth!), and even saw dinosaur poop. It was great!
Digging for fossils.

Four Months!

Can you believe it? And she is tipping the scales at over 16 pounds! Healthy girl:).

Lost

Last week I lost my rings. You know, the little tiny round things that fit on my little tiny fingers. You may not believe me, but it is really easy to lose something that small in a room this big. Luckily, Daddy helped me move some things around...and we found them!

SNOW!

Last year, we got so much snow, that this year, we just sort of expected it. I sure am glad we got some, because Mommy said it doesn't always snow in TX. This was a really fun day!

Pleeeeeeeeeease snow again!

Party Time!

As you know, Abbie loves all things fashion. So this party was right up her alley. Dresses, nails, a little bit of lip gloss, and a LOT of glitter. Oh, and a beautiful barbie fashion cake!

Can you believe Mommy made this? She still can't believe she made it, either.
Nails.
Friends.
Fancy me.
Fancy friends.
Fashion show.

Mommy.

One more time...Happy Birthday Abbie!

Ringin' in 2011!

Our neighbor, Callie, invited us over for a party on New Years Eve. She said we could spend the night if we wanted. Mommy was a little unsure, but since we were just next door, decided to let us try. At 8, I decided I wanted to come home. When mommy came over to get me, I decided to stay. Then I decided to go home again. But then I decided to stay! It was great! We slept all night and let mommy, daddy, and Samantha party with the mommy and daddy friends. Mommy promised to bring over cinnamon rolls in the morning. So when we woke up at 6:15 am, we had Callie's mommy text my mommy. She looked really tired.

Our first sleep over!

Birthday Date!

Mommy and Daddy took Abbie on a special birthday date to the mall. She got to go to Build A Bear, the Disney Store, and Nordstrom Cafe.

Then, it was back to Noni's (where Samantha and I stayed) for cupcakes and more presents.
Golf clubs! Real golf clubs!
And now, Felicity has her horses. Felicity is taking over our house.
Later that night, Abbie chose the hibachi grill for her birthday dinner. Mommy forgot her camera, so no pics of that. But imagine flying knives, fire and smoke, and daddy trying to catch rice in his mouth, and you have a pretty good picture of how it all went down.

Happy Birthday Abbie!!! You are my FAVORITE big sister!

FIVE!

December 28, 2010. Felicity now has a bed to sleep in!
I can't believe Abbie is 5!

And Later That Day...

We had Christmas AGAIN at Noni and Hampaw's house. We did a lot and had a really loooong day. But it was so much fun. I love my family!

Parker. Bustin' into the Jelly Bellies.
Abbie checkin' out the stocking. FYI: Noni does the BEST stockings.
Bitty Twins have a stroller now!
Reading a book with Meme.
The little kid table.
Dominos. A game that always happens at Mommy's family get togethers.
S wouldn't nap in the bed, but she seemed to have really liked the chair in the living room.
Noni and Hampaw (mommy's parents). They are great.

He Came!!!

And we LOVED what he brought us!

Christmas Eve!

We got home pretty late from the ranch, but we still had time for this:

Read a letter that Eddie the Elf left on our front doorstep. It came all the way from the North Pole. With a glitter trail and everything. He said he LOVED being in our house every day and that he was going to tell Santa to be very good to us this year!
Our Grandma Pat is the best! But looks like Samantha was pretty much done at this point.
We wrote to Santa. And he wrote us back!
Mommy and Daddy were pretty tired on Christmas Eve. We didn't take a lot of pictures. We didn't do a lot of what we wanted to do. But, we know the real reason we celebrate Christmas. We know we get presents from Santa to celebrate and remember the greatest present EVER...Jesus! My Hampaw said it best..."We go a little over the top on Christmas, but so did God, when he sent his son to save us from our sins." So, thank you God, for sending Jesus to us, a looooooong time ago, on Christmas morning!

Christmas on the Ranch

Uncle Rodney and Aunt Leah live on a ranch. A real ranch. With dogs. And deer. And armadillos. And it takes a really long time to get there. But, once again, this place is so worth the drive. This is probably one of my favorite places to go. Mommy says, "You can take a girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl." Even though we aren't growing up in the country like mommy did, I think we do pretty good as "country girls." Check us out!

Decked out in our hats and guns...pink, of course.
Practicin'.
Aunt Leah, Uncle Rodney, Duece, Lolli, and Ready.
Ready for our hunt.
OK, we didn't really hunt live animals. But we did go "huntin'" for deer sheds.
And we found some!
We can't wait for our next ranch trip!

Christmas in San Antonio

The week before Christmas, we traveled down south for some fun with our Papaw Roger and Carol. This was a fun, 5 hour turned 7 hour car trip. But once we got there, it was SO worth it. We got new toys, fed the swans at the park, tried on fancy furs at Carols shop, rode the river boat and ate a fancy restaurant on the river walk. It was so much fun!
