Ranch=FUN!

Daddy always talks about hunting, the ranch, and shootin' hogs with Uncle Rodney. This year, we actually got to go there! We saw some interesting things. At first, mommy tried to protect our little eyes, but we were just so curious. Don't worry, there will be no graphic pictures on my G rated blog.

You can't go to a south TX ranch without making a stop at the local Taxidermist. We saw lots of different animals mounted to the wall. But this kitty cat was our favorite.
Here we are with our Papaw Roger.
Scopin' out the deer.
In the blind with Daddy.
Sadly, this is how our trip ended. Abbie threw up in bed, all over me. And continued to throw up the rest of the night and the next night too. Mommy doesn't have any pictures from our Christmas celebration at Papaw Roger's house, because she was busy taking care of a pukey Abbie. Good news though: Abbie didn't share the wealth with the rest of the family. Thanks, Abbie!
Recently, Abbie asked mommy, "Can we please go back to the Ranch? I promise I won't throw up next time."

Christmas...Take 1!

The Kincy side. That would be Noni's family. Meme and Grandaddy, Aunt LIsa and Uncle Bill, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Mike, and (almost) all the cousins. So. Much. Fun!!!!

Playing in our new princess tents. If you don't have one...get one! These are still up in our rooms. Abbie's is still in her bed. Super fun times in the tents.
Me!
Abbie and Daddy.
Abbie, doing her perfect ballet curtsy.
THe girls. This would have been after we did the reindeer prance around Noni's house.

Check back soon for more Christmas fun!!!

Looooooong Family Tradition

We get our tree at a local farm. It is super fun. Mommy said that Noni and Hampaw took her and Aunt E every year to get their family tree. There is no other way, in my opinion:).

You start out with a hayride to the field.
Then you begin your search for the perfect tree. Check out the power tool that Daddy brought along. Go Daddy!
Perfect tree...Found! Family picture time.
Load it up! And head home for the decorating fun.
This year, we started (or semi started) a new tradition...Christmas tree campout! We had yummy hotdogs and smores, watched a movie, and then we were SUPPOSED to get to sleep in sleeping bags under the tree. But this year, we chose to spend time with our Grandma Pat, who a had just had her last surgery! We are definitely looking forward to the CTC next year!
More Christmas catchup pics to come!
