Rooms We Love

The Bonus Room...A room pretty common in newer construction homes. We love it because it is a place for all of our toys, a place we can call our own. Mommy loves it because in her words it's, "Outa sight and outa mind." Whatever that means.
Abbie's big girl room: Abbie loves her polka dotted wall and her new shelf to display her fancy teacups. Mommy said someday soon she'll move her antique iron bed in that she slept on as a little girl and Abbie and I can share this room...I can't wait!
And, finally, because I know you want to see a post with more than just a room on it...here's ME! A.K.A. "Spaghetti Face." Smearing your food on your face makes dinner time much more enjoyable. Try it sometime:).

1: My friend, Millie, and I at the Science Museum...obviously having some serious girl talk.

2: Doing what we do while Mommy cooks dinner.

3: Abbie's latest art project...a new crayon caddy. Mommy let her pick out the caddy and the color purple.

4: My pal, Lucy, and I messing with the big kids.

5: Aunt E and Uncle Andy. We love them, and we can't wait for baby Parker to be here...it won't be long!

Shhhhh....

Recently, Abbie has taken up napping again. Mommy says she has a love/hate relationship with these naps. Love, because she gets stuff done when Abbie is sleeping...Hate, because Abbie is a real bear when she wakes up.

Mommy rarely catches me asleep. I am so quiet in my bed. I like to wake up and silently think about the day ahead for awhile. Mommy usually doesn't even know I am awake...sneaky me:)!

Mommy, will you marry me?

This is what I overheard Abbie asking Mommy this morning, after she had put on her daily dress-up outfit...a sleeping beauty top and Tori Burch ballet flats. Mommy told Abbie that she had to marry a boy, not a mommy. Hmmmmm, we know lots of boys:).
P.S. Hannah- Abbie can't stop talking about being a flower girl in your wedding. She really can't wait. She wants to wear her special flower dress and slippers ALL THE TIME. Mommy, of course won't let her. In the meantime, we'll keep practicing with dress up clothes!

to blog soon! Oh, faithful blog stalkers, I feel I have let you down. Don't despair! Mommy said we are staying home all day today to clean, cook dinner for baby Hudsons family, and blog:). I have SO much to say.
