Dear Santa,

I am not sure if you read my blog or not. Mommy said you might, so it's worth a shot. I've already sat in your lap, so you know what I want for Christmas. But, I was thinking...How fun would it be if we had snow too??? Yeah, super fun! So, could you please send some of that down from the NP? I love you and I am not scared of you this year. Oh, and I have been REALLY good.

Love,
Anna Claire

P.S. Thank you for giving presents every year to remind us of the greatest present ever given. We will be celebrating a special birthday on Christmas morning:)!

Roughin' it...

At the Great Wolf Lodge! Well, maybe not roughin' it, but there was a really cool cabin in our room that Abbie and I got to sleep in...kind of like our own private hotel room! Tell your Mommy and Daddy that you REALLY want to go there. So. Much. FUN!!!!

Silliness.
Yep. We slept on the bottom bunk together because the top bunk said you couldn't sleep there until you are 6. FINALLY, something Abbie wasn't old enough to do!
Posing.
Abbie calls bikinis her "zuchini." She is super silly.
And here's me in my zuchini!
Mommy didn't get any pictures inside the water park. But, let me just say that the wave pool and the lazy river were huge hits:). Can't wait to go back next year...or sooner!

Give or Receive???

GIVE, of course! It is so much better to give a gift than to get one. Especially during this season, when we are busy celebrating the greatest gift of all...Jesus! We love our life group at church! And what a bunch of "givers" they are! A couple of Saturdays ago, we met up at the church to assemble our boxes to send to kids in Mexico, who's mommy's and daddy's may not have enough money to buy them presents for Christmas. Because God loves ALL children! We gave, and had a lot of fun, too! Check out all the action...

A fun warm up game before our lesson on giving.
Look at me listening so patiently to Mr. Kyle's instructions.
All the kids learning about giving.
Abbie and I helping Daddy assemble our boxes that were for little girls our age!
My family!
I'm so glad we are able to give to others...it really is alot of fun!!!

Feasting...Preschool Style!

To give thanks to God for all He has given us, we celebrated at school with a feast! That means LOTS and LOTS of yummy food! And Mommy came too! Here is how it all went down...

Me, honoring the Pilgrims
And here is my class, feasting together
Abbie, with her Turkey instructions: "Put sugar and sprinkles on turkey. Cook in microwave for a little while, then move to the oven to cook a little bit longer." Yummy!
Abbie and her gang of girlfriends

Can't wait to feast again with my friends next year!

A Sister is...

A best friend.
A built in playmate.
Someone to have a slumber party with every night!

Yep! Abbie has finally let me sleep with her. It is soooo much fun! Mommy and Daddy let us talk for 5 minutes after they leave. We have found a few ways to be sneaky and stay up a little later, though. Daddy says the headboard of princesses is a little creepy...but they sure do beat the big black monsters that are in my room when I am by myself!

Chocolate Face

Mommy has tried to teach my how to eat chocolate like a lady. But it's just so hard to contain myself. I just wanna stuff it all in at once and then lick my fingers...

Overachiever Alert!!!

Yep, that would be me! We just got back from our trip to Santa Fe and I am already blogging:). You know you love it.

Daddy's sister lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, so we thought we'd load up and take a trip to see them. WOW! What a fun trip. I can't wait to go back to visit Story, Chance, Aunt Missy, and Uncle Scott. Thanks for letting us come and showing us the cool sights of NM!

Right on the side of a mountain, their backyard is every kid's dream.
Us girls, being silly in the leaves.
The view from their living room. Can you imagine?
Daddy and Chance learning about fast cars.
Story's Grandma and Grandpa had us over for pizza and popsicles.
A cousin picture attempt.
My cousin, Story. She is so awesome!
And here is Aunt Missy and Uncle Scott.
Daddy and Story in the Pueblo caves.
More fun in the caves.
Silly Story.
And more in the caves.
In search for some pine cones.

Mommy took so many pictures. We really had a great time. We cried when we had to get back on the airplane. I can't wait to visit again...very soon, hopefully!

And We Are Now Caught UP!!!

Yeah, we have done a lot more in October than what I have posted, but I think I've covered all the major events. Although a little out of order, here are some pics from Trick or Treating, Pumpkin Day at Preschool, and The Pumpkin Patch with Parker. Enjoy!

Belle
Abbie, Jameson, and Me, ringing the doorbell. We have this down, pat!
My friend Hayley...all ready to go. We didn't last long in the wagon.
Tinkerbell, KHS cheerleader, and Belle. Way to be a good sport, Mommy!
Abbie and her friend Anna at Preschool. Check out A's extension!
Me. Check out my extension too! It's fun having long hair:).
A picture attempt. The best one we got. It was really cold and wet that day.

Happy Fall!!!

Down on the Farm

My Great Grandaddy (By the way, did you know I have 6 of my Great Grandparents? Mommy says that is a blessing!) turned 83 a couple of weeks ago. That's Hampaw's dad for those of you wondering. So we headed to the farm where Mommy grew up. There were fields, trees, horses, trampolines, barns, dogs, swings, sand, leave piles...Mommy must have had some serious fun when she was a little girl! This was the first time I have ever seen this family together. Mommy said this was the first time all of her cousins have been together since she was in High School. That is too long.

Picking wildflowers.
The swing.
Look who's walking. And going to be a big brother (check out Aunt E's blog link).
Cousins.
Freedom.
Hampaw with his sisters and dad.
Great Grandkids.
Mmmmmmmm...homemade icecream and poundcake!!!
Aunt E, Parker, Uncle Andy.
What comes after 83? Oh yeah, 84! Hope we can do this again for that.
