Look Who's Growing up Too Fast!

Party Time!

Now that we have everything cleared up, here are some pics of Abbie's special day!

We started the day off with a birthday breakfast. Abbie chose cinnamon twists and of course she got to eat off of one of mommy's fancy plates.

I love cinnamon twists too!

We spent most of the day on the potty, and modeling big girl panties. I won't show you pictures of that, though.

A new scooter!?!?! No fair! I want one! Where's my scooter????

Safety is no accident.

Ok, so I didn't get a scooter, but a fluffy new pink tutu will do just fine:).
Mommy and Abbie having some cake. Yummy!

Clarification

Ok, so when I put that we had an exciting announcement, it never crossed my mind that you all might think Mommy has a baby in her tummy! Sorry if I let anyone down. But this news is better than that...at least at our house right now.

Abbie is now going pee pee and poo poo in the big girl potty. She went all day yesterday with no accidents. So, I know this is not big news to some of you, but to Mommy, who has attempted to potty train her strong willed Abbie all year, this is BIG news:).

Bring on the princess panties!

Mommy also wanted to add this..."If I was really expecting #3, do you think I would announce it to the world in my blog? Some of you are my very best friends. Ya'll know me better than that!"

More pictures to come:)!

Look Who's 3!!!

Please don't think we ignored my sister on her birthday. It just happens so soon after Christmas, that it takes Mommy a while to catch up. Here's the birthday girl yesterday on her actual birthday. We have a whole week of festivities and a very exciting announcement to make.

Be patient...

Santa, You Rock!

Goodness! I really don't think I can wait a whole 'nother year for this to happen again. It was so great!
It was truly love at first sight when Abbie opened the Sleeping Beauty Vanity from Grandma Pat.
Wow, my very own tricycle!

Now that everyone has gone home, we need to write to Santa, to make sure he leaves us everything we want.Mom, you can't put cookies out for Santa, and expect us not to want one, too!
Mommy snapped this pic super early in the morning...Santa came!

Daddy is in little girl heaven:).
I love this toy!
And Noni and Hampaw ordered this Awesome play house from Santa! Lots and lots and lots of fun times ahead!
Christmas brunch.

I needed to try out Parker's toys to make sure they were safe for him:).Oh my, a real Elmo?!?!?

And my sweet little cousin, on his first Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I am so thankful that we are able to give gifts to each other so that we can be reminded of the greatest gift ever given to us...Jesus!

Mommy and Daddy go on Vacation!

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy jetted off to Vegas for a vacation with out us. I don't know what kind of fun they thought they would have without Abbie and I???? Apparently, it wasn't that great because they were back to get us on Sunday:). We sure did have fun with Noni and Hampaw!

"Don't worry Anna Claire, Mommy and Daddy will come back for us!"

Mommy and Daddy, all fancy.

And look at the fancy room they got to stay in!

However, this is what happens when you leave for vacation the week before Christmas and your tree is already dying. Yes, Daddy is taking the dead tree down with a chain saw. No worries though...Kroger puts trees on sale for $9.99 the day before Christmas.
Our Christmas Story is coming soon!

Post Happy

SCROLL DOWN! I am trying to make up for lost time:)...or maybe I am just helping Mommy procrastinate and put off printing addresses for Christmas cards even longer.

Or maybe I am trying to be in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most posts in one sitting.

Or maybe I love looking at pictures of myself.

Run, Mommy, Run!

Last Sunday, we went to watch mommy run a really long way. Even though she didn't win the race, they still gave her a really cool medal, and a free banana. Good job Mommy!

Ballerina Princesses!

Mommy has been going to see the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet perform "The Night Before Christmas" since she was a little girl. Well, this year, Abbie was finally old enough to go. I was a little sad, until I found out that to go, you have to be able to sit in one seat for over an hour...which I am TOTALLY not into these days. I was fine staying with my Hampaw, napping and eating snacks:).

So, Mommy, Noni, and Abbie met Mommy's friend Ms. Jen and her little girl, Audrey. They said they had a really great time. When asked about the ballet, Abbie went on and on about the ballerina princesses, the dancing penguins, the gingerbread men, and the surprise appearance by Santa Claus himself!!! Only, Abbie was a little confused as to why he forgot to bring her Barbie fishing pole...again! I keep telling her, "Santa doesn't bring the presents until Christmas...be patient!"

Sweet me:).

Sweet Abbie:).

Abbie and her 2nd cousin Brianna, playing in the fort at the cabin.

Showing off my new use for a purse...a sippy cup holder! I am so clever!

Mommy wanted me to say that this is no bake cheesecake and there are NO raw eggs.

Thanksgiving feast at school...Mrs. Emily, shy Abbie, and Mrs. Marissa

Well, that about does it for catch up. We have been really busy. Coming up: Almcoe Christmas Party, The Ballet, Mommy's 1/2 marathon, a visit to Santa, and Mommy and Daddy's trip to Vegas...all in the next 2 weeks!
Oh, and can you believe that Abbie will be 3 soon? Crazy!

Three's Company

Dear Parker,

I can't wait for you to get a little bit bigger so we can play with you. I promise I will do my best to keep Abbie from putting you in a "between the legs headlock" like she does to me...it is not fun and it hurts! What I cannot promise you is that we won't dress you up as a pink princess. Oh, the fun the 3 of us are going to have!!!

Love,
Anna Claire

One of "Those" Mommies

I think my mommy would like to think that she wouldn't be one. But anyone that knows my mommy, knows that "Room Mom" is pretty much in her blood. She said she really would like to be the mom who just brings the napkins (which is obviously still very important), and that may happen one day....but until she gets really stressed out, we will take really cute seasonal goodies to our school parties.

Oven baked caramel corn...in the cutest bags ever (thanks, Noni)!
Peanut and chocolate free turkey pumpkin cupcakes:).

Dear Santa,

Mommy doesn't want you to bring us anything new this year for Christmas. She says we are having too much fun playing with things we just find around the house. (*you may need to enlarge the photo to see our newest fascination)

One Last Summer Day

The great thing about Dallas, TX, is that summer seems to hang on for a little while longer than most places. We do get a few cool fall days in October, but for the most part, it is still quite warm and summery. Well, now that November is here, it is probably safe to say that summer is gone, but we enjoyed one last warm day a couple of weeks ago.

Pink shades and a cool drink...a perfect way to end the summer!
