The Great Butterfly Release!

Some of mommy's FB followers know that we have been taking good care of some very special caterpillars. Well, those caterpillars ate, and ate, and ate...and grew, and grew, and grew...until one day, they formed a chrysalis! We watched and waited every day. Finally, it happened. Look below for some really cool pictures.

Look! There's one now! They spend some quiet time after they emerge pumping blood into there wings.
We got to watch and observe our butterflies for 3 days in the habitat. Then, it was time to release them. They don't like being cooped up!
Off they go! They are very fast!
But, they LOVE oranges, so we were able to catch a few on a slice.
We saved our habitat, so we will be raising more butterflies. It is so neat!

Road Trip!

Last week, mommy and a couple of her friends, loaded us all up into the Tahoe for a road trip to Fossil Rim. We had SOOOOOOO much fun. The animals came right up to our car and ate food out of our hands. Tell your mommy to take you! Super Fun Time!!!

It's All Starting to Come Together!

God sent us his son, Jesus, on Christmas. Jesus paid the ultimate price by dying for our sins. Three days later, when the stone was rolled away, he wasn't there. Jesus is alive! And we are forgiven! All I have to do is believe this truth. Thank you, God, for giving me this gift!

Looking Back

Wow! Was my sister really this little when I was born? Mommy said something about that entire year being one big "blur." Mommy also said she is very happy that I will be 3 and Abbie will be 4 when this baby is born. Big Girls! We will be such good helpers!

P.S. Aunt Erin, Mommy wanted me to give a special shout-out to you. She said it wasn't "that bad" and you will handle it beautifully:)!

Posing

If you haven't noticed, Abbie and I are really into "posing" when mommy takes our picture. Whether it be a tilt of the head, or hands by the face, we have it down. We have no idea what mommy means when she says, "Girls, can you please give me a normal smile???"
