Lessons on Faith

Abbie: Mommy, remember Pick?

Mommy: Yes, baby, I remember Pick.

Abbie: Where'd she go to?

Mommy: Well, Pick got very sick and went to Heaven to be with God.

Abbie: Where is Heaven? I want to go there.

Mommy: You will go somday, but it's not time for you to go yet. Mommy would miss you. Heaven is way up in the sky, high, high above.

Abbie: Let's get a ladder and go visit Pick! Or maybe we could bounce on a ball and get to Heaven.

Mommy: No that won't work, because Heaven is too far away for us to get to now, but God is watching over us from Heaven.

Abbie: Yes, he gives us medicine and keeps me safe. I want to tell God to tell Pick "Hi."

Ballet and Stuff...

My sister and I are so silly!

Here is Abbie with her tights on her head. She is really into pretending she is getting married. The groom is still yet to be determined:)...
Mommy says stretching is important to keep your limbs limber, so I like to get all the stretching in that I can!

Why go to Six Flags when you have a Daddy? Riding on daddy's knees =fun for us and a great ab workout for Daddy!

Abbie started Ballet and Tap today. Believe me when I say that I was NOT thrilled about this. Look at her, trying to give me a sweet sister hug to make me feel better. Not happening. I want to wear the leotard!
OK, I'll stop crying long enough to pose with her. I'm still not happy about this, though!

Abbie really did a great job. We weren't allowed to watch, but Mommy snuck a picture of the girls getting ready to learn some new moves. Next year...next year (sigh...).
Getting to take ballet is a big deal though. This has been Abbie's big reward for Finally being able to wear big girl panties all the time. She also get to go to ski school in March. Man, I am starting to think that waiting until you are 3 to use the potty is ridiculous! I want to do this fun stuff now, so I am starting to tell mommy when I need to pee-pee and poo-poo. Could it be???

How Fancy Can You Be?

So, my blogging has been L-a-m-e! So sorry. Because I know there are some of you who can't stand not to see our day to day activities:).

When mommy asked Abbie what kind of party she wanted for her birthday this year, her answer was quick and simple...a fancy tea party! She wanted everything to be fancy, everyone to dress fancy, and fancy pink cupcakes. So, mommy did her best and fancied up the kitchen for Abbie and 3 of her best fancy friends. Here is a little sample of the fancy day ( a little out of order)...

Big 3 year old, blowing out her candle.
A tea party would not be fancy enough without real teacups. The girls did great with them. Mommy taught us how to be extra fancy, and put our napkins in our laps.

Fancy friends!

Fancy Cupcakes!

Fancy Mommy and Fancy Abbie!

Happy Birthday to my fancy big sister!!!
