Waiting on the Chrysalis...

5 - 10 days. That's how long Mommy said we might have to wait for our new caterpillar friends to turn into their chrysalis. It is really hard waiting, but, knowing what we know about the life cycle of a butterfly...it will be worth the wait. Right now we are just waiting, and watching them eat, grow, and spin some silk.

Proof

This post is for Mommy. Because this room NEVER looks like this. Because she spent all morning last Saturday helping us get organized. Because we seem to take the old saying "outta sight, outta mind" way to literally. Mommy has decided that we need to take some responsibility with our stuff. Why? I have no idea. Something about us getting older. Soooo...you will not find a polly pocket in the my little pony bucket around here. Nope! Everything now has a home. And mommy said if it couldn't be "classified", whatever that means, then it went bye-bye. Whatever, Mommy. Like you would really throw any of our toys in the trash.

It sure is nice to look at, now, huh?

Art Show Time!

Each year, our school has a night where we display our art work and auction off something really cool for a good cause. This year, it was to help a family of a very special little girl. It was a lot of fun.

My friend, Lola. I love her.
Standing proud by my puppy dog art.
Abbie with her art.
Do you like the way we pose? Not sure why mommy always tells us to stand normal and smile. I think we look beautiful.

Snow???

In March??? And 70 degrees the next day??? Daddy said only in Texas. Mommy said that's the kind of snow she likes...gone in 24 hours. Well, we sure did wake up to quite a surprise.

Our snowman
Daddy, shaking the snow tree
This is soooo fun!
Sledding...weeeeeeee!
At the park in our neighborhood. So pretty.
Mommy still has our snow clothes box out. We are just not sure when to put it away this year. Crazy Texas weather!

A Little Spring Break Fun!

When Spring Break came, mommy seemed a little anxious about how she was going to keep us occupied all week. She did a great job. We were really busy. We didn't get pictures of everything, but here are a few.

Not sure why Mommy thought this was funny. Abbie is dusting for a dino treasure.
Big Bad Wolves!!!
Digging with our friend Kye. His brother, Kace, was hanging out on the steps.
We also traveled across TX (not really, but anything over an hour seems like it to us) to visit our gretch friends. "Gretch" is a silly nickname mommy and her college roommates have for each other. And there are 12 (soon to be 13 kids) between the four of them, so we are the gretch kids.

Abbie and Ryley
All 12...2 months - 6 years old. Hey, Abbie, snap out of it! She was mad because she didn't get to sit by me. I'm so popular!
We also saw an IMAX film about Alaska, went to the gym. danced the night away at Southern Junction, and the played at the park with friends. What a FUN week!

Guess What?!?!?!?

So, you may have heard the news via facebook or via my mommy, but I have some VERY exciting news. Although I will always be Abbie's little sister, something amazing is about to happen. I'm going to be a BIG sister! That's right, not sure yet if we are getting another sister or a brother, but it will be one or the other:). Mommy has been feeling pretty yucky, but hopefully that will pass soon. We've go a lot of work to do around here.

Oh, and sorry about the blogging. We will get pics downloaded and try to go for it again. I am thinking we will not try to catch up, rather start from the present. Sound like a good plan?

Later, tater:)!
XOXO,
AC
