Puffs, Bubbles, and Pooh Bear

Well, today was a very exciting day. It started out with just Daddy, Abbie, and I. Aparently, Mommy woke up super early and went to Canton for a little retail therapy. Since Abbie was running a fever all weekend, we needed to miss church. So Daddy put me in my jumperoo outside, while he and Abbie did yard work. I don't have pictures of that, but believe me, Abbie worked really hard and was a big help to daddy.

Look what mommy brought home! A Pooh Bear cookie jar! Mommy said she hopes Pooh Bear will stick around for generations to come (whatever that means). Our Noni (Mommy's mommy) has had an Ernie cookie jar since Mommy was a little girl.

Later that day at dinner, mommy put Sweet Potato Puffs on my tray for me to pick up all by myself! Boy was that challenging! But since I LOVE to eat, I was determined to get one into my chubby little hands. I had alrady polished off a jar of apples and a jar of peas, so I wasn't super hungry. Abbie wanted to share the puffs with me, but Mommy said they were just for me. She didn't like that.

Here I am trying to get the puff into my hand. That is the hard part. Once it's there, eating it is a piece of cake.
Got it!!!! Yummy!!!!!
I told you Abbie got mad at Mommy for telling her she couldn't eat my food.

Bathtime brought a whole new adventure...the big girl bathtub!!! It was my first time taking a bath in the tub with my sister. I have been in my baby tub my whole life, and mommy finally got tired of doing double bathtime. Abbie and I had so much fun in the tub. She showed me all the great toys and how to blow the bubbles into the air. Boy have I been missing out!

I was a little unsure at first.
But pretty soon I was having lots of fun!
Check out Abbie's spiky eyelashes!
All clean and dry! Why do I always have red eyes?

AC, sounds like a fun day! You will love the bath time with big sister. It is totally Jack and Lucy's favorite time of day! All 3 of them in the tub is hilarious! Love, Syd

I love the new cookie jar! Make sure Abbie does not drop it like she did Earnie's head (ha!). AC, you are growing up so fast! Bathtime will be so much fun from here on out. Aunt E will have to get you some fun bath paint like me and your mommy used to play with when we were your age. Tell Abbie Hi...oh, and maybe give her 1 or 2 puffs next time you get them. I think she is just trying to show you how to do it. Love you both, Aunt E
